Provocative Carving 800 Years Ago

800 years ago, A skillful but naughty carpenter was engaged to do the carpentry, aesthetic finishing and roofing job at All Saints Church in Hereford, England,

The cheeky carpenter carved this rude gentleman high up in the dark roof where nobody could see him and the highly provocative carving remained hidden for almost 800 years.

Five years ago the church building committee decided to build an extra floor inside the church to serve as a restaurant and that was when the congregation discovered the naughty sculpture which some devout church members found to be extremely disturbing.

The identity of the carpenter has been lost to history but 800 years down the line, his naughty legacy has shocked the world and the image has gone viral putting the church on the world map.

Some church goers are yet to come to terms with the idea of such a seemingly lewd image hanging above their holy place for ages.

A parishioner told reporters that such an unholy image has rendered the sanctuary unholy while another claims that it was a blessing as the revelation has made the church a world famous tourist attraction.

The church leadership are yet to decide what to do with the rude discovery.
