The 3 major differences on the sisters:

The 3 major differences on the sisters:

• A-Deck - both Olympic and Titanic were built with identical opened promenade. Plans to refit Titanic's A-Deck was approved on February 14th, 1912. In March 1912, they began refitting her A-Deck Promenade by enclosing the front section.

The claims of them closing Titanic's Promenade because of sea spray is a myth. The Promenade was enclosed because the favor of giving First-Class passengers more private areas.

• B-Deck - just like A-Deck, both Olympic and Titanic were built with identical layout on the slipways. Plans to refit Titanic's B-Deck was approved in June 1911, and the refit began in early September 1911. The aft section of Titanic's starboard side was refitted (accommodated) for the Café Parisien. After Titanic sank, Olympic received the same aft design from her lost sister. Ismay considered the B-Deck promenade on Olympic as a waste of space and had Titanic refitted with three private promenades known as the Parlor Suites. Due to the added suites, the windows on B-Deck were refitted.
• C-Deck - unlike A & B-Decks, the C-Decks on both Olympic and Titanic weren't refitted. Both sisters had their own layout design. As from a distance, they can easily be seen identical but close-up, they're different. The mid-section of the superstructure of Titanic's portholes are divided into six large portholes accompanied by small portholes that divides them, and on Olympic's, the mid-section are not divided.

Little extras:
• Bridge-wing - on Titanic, the wings were extended out as on Olympic, they weren't until the 1913 refit.
• Ventilators - Titanic was the first to receive the forward fan ventilator before Olympic. Titanic received hers in late February 1912 and Olympic receiving hers in the first week of March 1912.

Little extras:
• Portside bow portholes - both Titanic and Olympic were launched from their slipway with a total of 14 portholes. After August 1911, two additional portholes were added to Titanic. As two were added to Olympic as well when she returned to Belfast in fall 1911 for a month and an half stay. It was to conclude with the update from plans made on Titanic for more lighting and ventilation. Also, there is a photo of Titanic from September 1911 showing the refit of B-Deck has began and it also shows her with 14 portholes. And later in a December 1911 photo, Titanic is seen with 16 portholes confirming she received her two additional portholes in fall 1911.
